Production Assistant/Youth Team Member - Positive News Publishing

The job of production assistant involves all areas of production from co-ordinating writers and image research to organising the office systems and ensuring that copy and print deadlines are met. You would be working with a small team, producing various publications and managing content for the Positive News website. Work for the youth project would consist of helping to co-ordinate the production of the Positive Youth News pages within the paper and building on our existing network of young journalists.
Previous publishing experience is not essential.
Skills:-

Must be a great written and verbal communicator - Organisation - Able to
multi-task

Basic IT- training will be given on in house management systems

Team worker who is capable of working independently when required - Ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment

Ability to make creative decisions

Work would be on a full time basis on week days only. Positive News is based in Shropshire.
